Software that fits the way your business already works.

Most companies reshape their process around the software they bought. Carheden Software works the other way: the site, the forms, and the backend are built around how your business already operates, then connected to the tools you already pay for.

The problem

One size doesn't fit anybody.

A three-truck plumbing outfit and a forty-seat restaurant do not run the same way. Neither runs the way a two-thousand-person company does. What is for sale is a subscription with sixty features, six of which get used, none of which talk to the spreadsheet the bookkeeper lives in.

So someone on staff spends four hours a week retyping information from one screen into another. That job was never on the org chart. It accumulated.

Deleting that retyping is the job.

Services

A website is where it starts, not where it stops. The value arrives when the page does something after a visitor hits submit.

  1. Fast, mobile, findable on Google. Forms route to the right inbox, or straight into your job system, instead of dying in spam.

  2. Customers book a real slot on your real calendar. Confirmation goes out immediately, a text reminder the day before. No-shows drop.

  3. Stripe or Square, deposits up front, recurring billing where it fits, receipts that reach your accounting without a second entry.

  4. The dispatch board, job tracker, inventory count, or intake form your business needs and no vendor sells.

  5. QuickBooks, Google Calendar, Shopify, your POS, your CRM, a supplier's API. Two systems you already pay for, finally talking.

  6. Monday numbers that assemble themselves. A reorder alert that fires before stock runs out. The follow-up nobody has to remember.

Process

Four steps, fixed price, no surprises.

A twenty-minute call

What you do, who buys from you, where the hours go, and what software you run now. Free, and it ends with a straight answer on whether this is the right fit.

A written quote

Scope in plain English, one fixed number, a delivery date. A change in scope means a new quote. It does not quietly grow.

Build, in the open

You get a link to the work from week one. Feedback while it is still cheap to change, not a reveal at the end.

Handoff, and you own it

The code is yours and the accounts are in your name. The domain is registered and paid for here, and transfers to you whenever you ask. End the engagement tomorrow and everything keeps running, and any developer can pick it up.

Pricing

Estimates, not invoices. Your quote is flat and in writing before work starts, with no hourly meter running in the background.

Start small. Add the machinery when it pays for itself.

Landing page

$100

One page: who you are, what you do, how to reach you. Your copy and photos, laid out properly. Works on a phone. Live in about a week.

  • Single page, custom built, not a template
  • Contact form to your inbox
  • Google ready: title, description, business info
  • Hosting and domain included, transferable on request

Full website

$450

Up to six pages. Services, about, gallery, contact, whatever the business needs. For companies whose customers do their research before they call.

  • Everything in the landing page
  • Up to six pages
  • Hours, map, reviews, service area
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile
  • You can edit the text yourself

Site with a real backend

from $1,200

Where the site stops being a brochure and starts doing work. Priced by what it has to connect to, so the first question is always what you run today.

  • Online booking on your live calendar
  • Payments and deposits (Stripe or Square)
  • Automatic confirmations and text reminders
  • Customer accounts and order history
  • Connects to QuickBooks, your POS, your CRM
  • Replaces the steps you're doing by hand

Custom software

quoted, from $3,000

The internal tool nobody sells because it only makes sense for your business. Dispatch boards, job costing, inventory, client intake, a customer portal, or a bridge between two systems that were never meant to meet. Scoped on a call, quoted flat.

Running costs, billed monthly

Website hosting, updates, monitoring, small changes
$25/mo
Software app server, database, backups, upkeep
from $65/mo

Two prices, and that is the whole list. There is no separate care plan to opt into and nothing gets added later. The monthly covers the server it runs on, the updates, the monitoring, and the small changes you ask for along the way. Software costs more than a website because there is a database, backups, and something that can break at 2am.

Billed monthly by invoice, card or bank transfer, cancel any time. If you cancel, the site and the code are still yours.

Every number on this page is an estimate. The real quote depends on what your business needs, which means it can land above these figures or below them. A job simpler than the tier describes costs less and gets quoted that way. You see the final number in writing, and agree to it, before any work starts.

Domain registration and hosting are included: in the setup fee for the first year, then in the monthly. Neither is billed separately. Metered services (text message credits, paid APIs) are passed through at cost with no markup, because those track your volume rather than sitting at a flat annual price.

Fit

Whether this is worth your time.

Good fit

  • One to fifty employees, with paying customers already
  • A specific repetitive job is eating real hours every week
  • You're running two or three systems that don't talk
  • You want to own what gets built

Probably not

  • You want the cheapest template and nothing more. Squarespace does that well, and saying so is more useful than taking the money
  • It has to be finished this Friday

Get started

The more specific you are about what you run now, the more useful the first reply will be.

Describe what's eating your time.

No pitch deck, no drip campaign. Every message is read by the person who does the work, with a reply within one business day.

Anything the new system would need to talk to or replace: point of sale, accounting, scheduling, CRM, spreadsheets, paper. Brand names help.
